Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the desktop applications published by the independent developer behind this site ("the developer", "we", "us"). By installing, opening, or using any of these applications, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

1. The service

The applications are provided as personal, non-commercial tools. They run entirely on your own computer. They can, with your explicit permission, connect to third-party services (Google / YouTube Data API, NASA public APIs, Wikipedia) and perform actions on your behalf — for example, uploading videos that you or the app produced to your own YouTube channel. There is no hosted service, no account, no subscription.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to run the software on machines you control, for lawful purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, misrepresent authorship, or distribute modified builds under someone else's name. You may read and modify the code for your own use.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

4. Content ownership

You retain ownership of everything you create with the software (videos, images, text, code) and of any data already on your machine. We claim no rights to your content. We never receive it in the first place, because there is no server to receive it on.

5. Third-party services

The apps interact with services we do not control. Google, NASA, Wikimedia and any other provider may change their APIs, pricing, quotas, or terms at any time and may suspend or terminate your access. We are not liable if a third-party service breaks, rate-limits, or bans you, and we cannot act on your behalf with them.

6. No warranty

The software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. You assume all risk as to the quality, correctness and safety of the software.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, data, reputation, channel access, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The developer's total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to obtain the software (which, for free tools, is zero).

8. Indemnity

You agree to hold the developer harmless from any third-party claim arising from your use of the software, your content, or your interaction with any third-party service through it.

9. Termination

You may stop using the software and delete it at any time. These Terms terminate automatically if you breach them. Sections 4 through 8 survive termination.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time by updating this page. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is a resident, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

12. Contact

The developer's public contact e-mail is displayed on the OAuth consent screen of each application (Google's "App information" section) and inside the application's Google Cloud Console / store listing. Privacy Policy: privacy.html.
